Choosing the Right Flagpole Mounting Base for your flag

Our flagpoles are compatible with a variety of bases for indoor and outdoor display. which mount base works best with your flag banner? To answer this, consider where to place your flag and on what kind of ground. In the front lawn of a business or in front of trade show booth? Sometimes buyers need to purchase more than one base to make their feather flags or flying banners more versatile.

Ground Stake
Both ground stakes and ground screws support your wind flag in soft, outdoor ground, such as grass, dirt, and sand. It can be hammered or twisted into soil. Be sure to hammer the right area and let the ground spike down into the hard layer, otherwise, your flagpole will tilt.

Cross Base
Beachflag cross bases are for flat solid surface, such as pavement and asphalt outdoors or hard indoor floors. Choose the right cross base depending on the weight of base(1kg-4kg) and indoor or outdoor if it is windy or not, sometimes weight bags(round or square water ballast or sand bags) are recommended to stabilize the entire setup.

Base Plate
Flag base plate are for hard ground, such as sidewalks and hardwood floors. Weight bags are needed to support the entire flag display for outdoor if the weight of metal base plate is not enough (for example, 5kg or 10kg). Small Base plate is also great for indoor use because the base sits flat on the ground. Since the base plate does not collapse down like the cross-base, the big base plate is not recommended for travel purposes.

Water filled Base
Moulded water bases are also for securing your flag on hard ground, Easy to use indoors without water or simply carry the empty hardshell water tank base and fill the tank with water or sand. If need big weight and lost cost to secure your flying flag, then the Water fillable plastic ballast base will be the best choice.

Car base
